Dear Voyagers,
Each year, as the Earth moves through its celestial rhythm, there is a moment when all life seems to wake up together – as though a single, invisible pulse runs through the web of nature, calling everything into a new beginning, a new cycle. In the Gene Keys Wheel of Life, this happens when the Sun passes through the 41st Gene Key, usually around 21st or 22nd of January.
In our genetics, the 41st Gene Key corresponds to the Initiator Codon in DNA – the capital letter at the beginning of every genetic sequence. It carries the frequency of Emanation, the initial impulse of something new: the seed of a dream before it takes shape. And in the deeper synthesis of the Codon Rings, the 41st Gene Key sits in a uniquely central place – nested in the heart of the ring matrix as the Ring of Origin – pulsing with the source code that is then transmitted to the entire network, setting the whole field in motion.
In the Tarot, this same mystery is captured in the figure of The Fool. The archetype of the pure beginning. The Fool does not follow a plan. He or she follows an inner call. The Siddhi of the 41st Gene Key is, in essence, the great return: the journey of following one’s own emanation back to the Source – not chasing an outcome, but trusting the truest impulse within you, and allowing it to lead you, with innocence, courage, and surrender, all the way home.
Each dream is made of light, and if you are unattached to it, it remains pure. If you become over-attached to the outcome, you will end up wishing for the future rather than being here now, and the dream cannot manifest.
Welcoming in the True New Year 💫
The tradition of making New Year Resolutions is based upon natural life processes. As life evolves, embracing higher and higher forms of consciousness, it always has to let go of something first. However, the natural timing of these rituals has been forgotten, at least in the West.
The Chinese New Year in February is far more aligned with natural rhythms than our Western version. Placing New Year’s Day on January 1st is, in many ways, an unnatural moment for a true new beginning. Whereas from January 21st/22nd the Sun’s sequence opens into a new dream in the 41st Gene Key (Emanation). It then moves into a phase of letting go the old form through the 19th Gene Key (Sacrifice), before entering the 13th Gene Key (Empathy), which represents transformation into a higher form. This entire process culminates as the Sun moves into the 49th Gene Key (Rebirth) on February 7th.
