Honor Griffith

Honor Griffith, PhD, is a Jungian based psychotherapist, academic, and workshop leader who is dedicated to mining the interface between psychology, spirituality and the new science. Inspired by her own journey into the Gene Keys, she is now incorporating these teachings into her work. She is an internal PhD dissertation reader at Pacifica Graduate Institute, has presented at many academic conferences, and is published in Jungian based journals. Her more recent workshops include: Tending Soul Through Symbol and Dream, Becoming an Elder, and Living the New Story- Confronting our Shadow on the Journey to Interconnection.

Prior to life as a therapist, Honor worked as both an internal and an independent external organizational development consultant providing services in team building, management training, communication skills, group facilitation, and career counselling. She has been a lecturer in English as a Second Language at a variety of post-secondary institutions in both Toronto, Ontario, and London, England. She started her career teaching English Literature and Drama at the community college and high school levels in London.

Honor has an Honours BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in Counselling Psychology, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Depth Psychology.

Born in London, Honor spent her childhood travelling between the UK, Denmark, Jamaica and Canada. After settling with her husband of 46 years in Toronto, they eventually moved to Saltspring Island, BC, where she currently lives.
