CHANGERS: FINDING YOUR ROLE IN THE GREAT CHANGE

As we journey through the Dream Arc programme, it is leading us to our place within the Great Change, and the Changers invite us to contemplate our role within this vast, shifting backdrop. What is the greatest service you can offer to assist in this transformation? Allow this question to permeate deeply within you as we start to move towards the changes ahead, and consider this story, which is an extraordinary one. 

The thing about change is that we hardly ever see it coming. For example, some people talk about cryptocurrency and seem sure that it will go a particular way, while others are convinced that with all the highly-advanced technology that is being developed, we will soon get to Mars. In both cases, there is an underlying assumption that everything is going to keep heading in a certain direction, along the same tracks, but I have a deep doubt about that. If you assume that things are going to go along one track, you may have a big surprise coming because it is not necessarily going to go that way.

It is uncertain whether we will make it to Mars in this epoch, but in the new epoch we will get there in ways we can’t possibly imagine now. We will get further than we could possibly conceive of because we are the technology, and our bodies contain the codes of an extraordinary evolution. We have latent capacities inside us – if you can conceive of something, it is going to be possible. Our imagination is the clue because it shows us our true nature and, like science fiction, it is boundless.

The next stage of our evolution is going to be beyond our wildest dreams, and it will arrive through a massive transformation. Transformations are tough. You will find this out as you move through the process of the Changers because it is the toughest process in the Dream Arc journey. It is just the way it is. It can feel as though you don’t know what is going on, but something is morphing and changing. Like the dragonfly nymph that has no idea what’s happening and clings for dear life to the old form, but then eventually a new creature emerges. That will be all of us! 

The Great Change is coming, and momentous changes like this have happened many times before, although they are not held in the living memory of humanity. The only people that generally have a memory of such changes are the indigenous peoples, and sometimes the creatures of our planet. The dragonfly, which is one of the Changers, contains it in coded form. All the Changers are symbols, icons of the truth of massive transformation. It is built into the DNA of life and we cannot avoid it. But what has come before does not and cannot prepare you for what is ahead.

The creatures of the Changers sit on the edge of transformation. Each one of them carries an important message about a particular change, and an aspect that you need to know and develop within you to be able to weather the change gracefully and graciously. We are going to have to prepare ourselves in a new way to be ready for the Great Change, which is not that far ahead. There was a time when we would not have believed that we would all be walking around wearing masks and having to stay inside our houses. That was just one of the tiny, early tremors in the series of changes that are coming to this planet – there are much bigger quakes coming that will test humanity and push us to our limits. This is the nature of change, and it is the human shadow, our ancestral wound that is being transformed. 

You, as an individual human being, carry an ancestral wounding on behalf of the whole. And you are invited by the whole, to carry it and to transform it for the whole as a sacrifice. You came here to do this, your soul took on the burdens you took on, so wear them graciously, and move through the changes effortlessly and calmly, even though it may be hard. 

In following the Dream Arc programme, you are potentially one of the role models or even a catalyst for this change, here to prepare yourself and to prepare others for how to handle it, and to reassure them that it is safe to be here. It is safe because we are eternal, and when our current form dies, we will return in another form when things have shifted a bit, and maybe then some of the hard stuff will happen. We are going to have to deal with things like grief – the grief of our ancestors, the grief of letting go and of losing our loved ones. Of course, we already have to deal with grief – we deal with it all the time – but we often forget our divine nature and so do not find the solace or reassurance that this insight can bring. 

There will also be those who will be unable to comprehend what is happening and will freak out. That is human, though, and we can all empathise with it. People can hold a lot of fear, and some will simply not know how to cope when the time comes. So each of the Changers invites you to consider, ‘What is the gift I most need in order to return non-love with Love?’ A line from a prayer that I wrote called The Holy Incantation of Solace resonates here, ‘May kindness resound in our voice, softening the way that lies ahead.’ 

We’re going to have to be kind to each other, and gentle in how we approach this coming change. Each one of us has to find our own relationship and alignment to it. This is not about going off to build a bunker with the idea that it’s going to keep you safe. This is about building community and building bridges between hearts. Building love is what will keep us safe.

So breathe into it and breathe gently, because there are going to be layers upon layers to the change, the transformation. It is something that we are going to have to get used to, and to navigate it we will need to be coming more and more from our hearts. This is the only place from where we can meet change with love and with grace.
