In this time of Great Change, we recognize the transformative power of coherent, human-centric and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence (AI) and its profound impact on the world including our community, our creative collaborators and our dedicated team members.
The Gene Keys Companies (Gene Keys Group Ltd, Gene Keys Publishing Ltd and Gene Keys Ltd) aim to align all aspects of their respective business, and their response to these changes in the spirit of the Gene Keys Approach and Noble Code, and in compliance with the existing and future legal regulatory requirements such as the new EU AI Act with its worldwide effect.
Team 64, the team behind the Gene Keys organisation, strives to model and uphold these values in our use of AI tools.
Transparency – Gene Keys books, courses, products and websites do not use AI-generated text. Any use of AI-generated imagery will be labeled. When we develop and/or use any AI systems, we will ensure that such are developed and used in a way that allows appropriate labelling, traceability and explainability, while making all users aware if and when they are interacting with an AI system.
Honour – We respect authorship and honour the source. Gene Keys Publishing Ltd. does not permit content from our books, courses, or website material to be used by AI or machine-learning systems without expressed consent, for any purposes, including training.
Privacy, Consent and Data Governance – Community contributions and customer participation in genekeys.com offerings are not being monitored or used in any AI or machine-learning systems. Any potential future projects that include AI learning will ask for explicit consent first.
Legal and regulatory requirements – We will continue to keep abreast with the changing legal and regulatory landscape, as this may apply to The Gene Keys Companies, especially requirements related to data governance, human agency and oversight, technical robustness, safety, diversity, non-discrimination, fairness and accountability. We will duly inform all deployers of the capabilities and limitations of any AI systems and affected persons about their rights.
Integrity – We are committed to review and update our policies in collaboration with experts to support a safe space for our community contemplation and ensure protection against any potential harmful effects of AI.

The writings and core teachings are under copyright by Richard Rudd, the founder, The Gene Keys Companies, or by supporting team members credited within the content.
Unless AI systems perform an assistive function for standard editing or do not substantially alter the inputs or are purely semantic, any future AI-generated or AI-assisted writing when included will be properly labeled and marked in a machine-readable format and detectable as artificially generated or manipulated.
AI-Generated Images, Audio & Video content
Some images, graphics, audio and video used in the creative media from genekeys.com may include AI-generated layers or AI-assisted editing tools from programs like Adobe, Canva, etc. We strive to always adhere to proper licensing and artist attribution.
When AI systems are used to generate or manipulate image, audio or video content that appreciably resembles existing persons, objects, places, entities or events and would falsely appear to a person to be authentic or truthful (Deep fakes), we will also clearly and distinguishably disclose that the content has been artificially created or manipulated by labelling the AI output accordingly and disclosing its artificial origin.
Where the content forms part of an evidently artistic, creative, satirical, fictional or analogous work or programme, the transparency obligations as set out are limited to disclosure of the existence of such generated or manipulated content in an appropriate manner that does not hamper the display or enjoyment of the work, including its exploitation and the use.
Any fully AI-generated images will be properly labeled and marked in a machine-readable format and detectable as artificially generated or manipulated to comply with the transparency requirement.
