Meet Samson Turinawe
Samson is the Executive Director of ULA, a Ugandan humanitarian, educator and human rights defender. He believes that “every human being should be respected simply for being who they are, a part of Life’s creation. Samson and the people at ULA put their lives on the line every single day in order to honor and protect the dignity and sovereignty of all beings. They train key religious, community and cultural leaders on human rights, provide support and empowering opportunities for women survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV and AIDS, orphans, refugees and members of various marginalized communities.
