Gene Keys Guide

I am a multidisciplinary creator and transformational guide born in Sweden and raised in Finland. I have a Masters in Science with a major in Serious Games and a Bachelor in Arts with a major in Media Arts, Aesthetics and Narration. Simply put, I could not choose between art or science but chose to study both. This choice reflects my fascination with learning to see the world from multiple points of view, and I am comfortable inhabiting multifaceted positions.

After having worked as a university lecturer for 5+ years (mainly teaching Media Technology for Visual students but also lecturing subjects such as Game-based learning and Project development among many others), I have shifted my main focus to my own creative work, and particularly, to guiding introspective processes. One of my most important getaways from teaching was the realization that what I most treasured in my meetings with the students was the opportunity to listen to their life stories, and that I would rather support them in being the unique person they were, than judging whether they fulfilled the course curriculum’s goals or not. This realization was the main reason for my shift away from full-time lecturing, though I still enjoy teaching from time to time.

The transformative power of learning is something I value deeply. In all my different roles, my main focus is to create an open atmosphere where there is space for playful curiosity. I see & creativity & learning & play as synonymous. You can’t have one without the other(s).

Though the tools and techniques I use can vary, there are two central themes that form a red thread through my practice: Storytelling and Learning. But in addition to a learning that just adds and takes in more information, I believe there is also value in a kind of unlearning: in becoming aware of the programs and beliefs we are running by default and releasing the ones that are actually not serving us anymore. For this, it is useful to develop some self-awareness.

I know how valuable self-awareness is from personal experience. In 2022-2023 I was experiencing a postpartum depression where emotions that I had been suppressing most my life could no longer be ignored. I see that time as the starting point for my process of seeking ways of understanding myself and releasing emotions and beliefs that were no longer serving me. This process has been going on from even earlier than that, but I believe our development is spiralic in nature. The awareness comes and goes but I have found that there is a baseline we can get to, from where it is easier to find our way back to ourselves. I am now in a place in my spiral when I feel called to start sharing my findings with others and guide them through their own life processes.

As a guide, I have come to see myself as a keymaster of transformational cycles, and my mission is to support people through some real and deep shifts. But there is a balancing act needed: for deep and powerful shifts, we need the gentlest approach. And there are two central frameworks, or lenses, where I have found this balancing act not just maintained but artfully so. One of them, of course, is The Gene Keys. And the other lens that I use is Rapid Resolution Therapy®, which provides a foundation for understanding how the subconscious mind works and how to communicate with it through multilevel communication, such as metaphors, symbolism and speaking to the senses. I have found that these lenses both resonate and complement each other and I am excited to share their value onwards through the guidance that I offer.

At the core, I believe that everything is interrelated, in complex and simple ways. And yet, we experience our lives as separated beings. The main aim of my practice is to experiment with, to learn, and to share about this paradoxical sense of separation/connectedness.
