Depth Psychology Meets Soul Awakening

My path toward becoming a Gene Keys Guide began long before I knew the Gene Keys existed. Like many people drawn to this work, I came through the doorway of healing not only professionally, but personally.

Growing up in a deeply dysfunctional family, I became curious early about human behavior, emotional survival, and the invisible forces shaping our lives. That curiosity eventually led me to become a clinical psychologist, a role I have held in private practice for more than twenty years. I also taught psychology courses at the University of Colorado–Boulder for nearly a decade.

Along the way, I immersed myself in depth psychotherapy, meditation, yoga, somatic and energy-based healing, and countless approaches to understanding trauma and transformation. I approached healing with dedication and sincerity, yet despite years of inner work, I often sensed that something deeper remained untouched – as though my nervous system still remembered stories older than my own life.

This realization opened the door to ancestral and intergenerational healing. Exploring the patterns carried through family lineages brought profound shifts that traditional psychological approaches alone had not fully reached. We carry emotional imprints shaped not only by personal experience but by generations of unresolved survival patterns. When we begin to meet these inherited layers with awareness and compassion, healing often unfolds in ways that feel both deeply personal and mysteriously collective.

Over time, my professional and spiritual paths naturally began to converge, especially after discovering the work of Dr. C. G. Jung. I became increasingly interested in integrating ancient wisdom traditions with modern psychological understanding, recognizing that lasting transformation often requires both grounded psychological insight and a felt sense of belonging within a larger field of meaning.

I wrote Psychstrology: Apply the Wisdom of the Cosmos to Gain Balance and Improve Your Relationships (2019), exploring how psychological astrology can deepen compassion and self-understanding when thoughtfully braided with contemporary psychological approaches.

I also presented at the annual ACEP (Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology) conference on integrating ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic practice, advocating for a more holistic vision of healing that honors both science and soul.

Discovering the Gene Keys felt like encountering a language that brought together everything I had long been seeking to integrate – psychology, astrology, ancestry, archetypal wisdom, and contemplative spirituality.

As a Gene Keys Guide, I support individuals in exploring their unique hologenetic profile with curiosity and compassion. My approach is shaped by decades of accompanying people through trauma, nervous system healing, and deep inner transformation, alongside a deep respect for each person’s inner timing and wisdom. Rather than offering answers, I hold space for inquiry, helping people listen more deeply to their own unfolding process.

I feel deeply grateful to walk alongside others on this path of discovery, where healing unfolds not through force or striving, but through gentle awareness, compassionate presence, and the ancient remembering that we were never meant to heal alone.
