Honoring Ankya Klay
Ankya Klay was a dear friend of many in the Gene Keys global community. She was a woman with exceptional qualities. Sometimes in life one meets a person whose being seems to physically emanate light. Ankya was such a rarity. Her life was a demonstration that wisdom and cheerfulness play across each other like wind and water. Poetic, artistic, humble and deeply humane, Ankya travelled the world extensively, living in many countries. She saw and lived her destiny as both healer and artist, and as mother and friend to many. In Ankya’s own words
“These two dynamics have played out over my life. I believed I had to choose one or the other and that perhaps being a ‘healer’ was more ‘valuable’ than being an artist. It took me discovering the Gene Keys Wisdom in 2010, to finally come to peace that these were two sides of myself. The guide/healer being my Life’s Work and the artist/creator my Purpose.”
As an Ambassador and Guide, Ankya was passionate about the Gene Keys, participating in most live programs and events. Her daughter Jessica shared the following:
‘I feel the Gene Keys played a really important part in her life. Once she started studying it seriously, a lot of her concerns, anxieties and relationship questions started to fall away or become easier. She really grew into her wisdom and started to embrace the role of an “elder” in guiding other people in their difficulties. She often studied the charts of other people, family and friends, so she could be more helpful and meaningful in her interactions with them. She was always incredibly present with people. Always met them where they were at, at whatever level they were at. She tried to be helpful in every situation. A huge part of that was the understanding she got from studying their charts, and seeing their challenges, and her general study and insights from the Gene Keys, as well as her natural intuition.
I will always be grateful I spent so much time with her as she grew into her happiness and wisdom, thanks a large part to the Gene Keys. I could see into her bedroom window from the kitchen where she sat in her armchair reading the Gene Key book every day. She was in such a buoyant, joyful mood every time she came off one of her Gene Key zoom calls!”
