Additional Care for your Contemplative Breath Practice
This meditation includes 15 minutes of gentle Guided Breathing Practice, which may assist in releasing tensions from the body and be deeply relaxing. It is important to take care of yourself and your body during this short practice. This is an opportunity to truly nurture yourself whilst being present with your body and your breath.
Make sure you are in a comfortable environment and ideally do this meditation seated. For comfort place some soft pillows around you if you lie down to experience this.
Be gentle with yourself as emotions may arise in the process. Releasing tension through the breath can lead to many insights and breakthroughs. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, (pause for a moment) simply listen to the meditation with your eyes open, hands on your belly and breathe slowly and easily throughout the entire practice. This in itself can be deeply nourishing.
As a reminder, the meditations and practices shared in the Gene Keys teachings are not a replacement for or a form of therapy nor are they intended to cure, treat, or diagnose medical conditions, such as anxiety disorder. Please take full care of yourself and consult a qualified physician if in any doubt.
As always, we want to remind you of the Gene Keys approach to be gentle and patient with yourself inside these journeys. We hope you have a nourishing experience as we listen to the Pathway of Service.
