What was most impactful or inspiring for you in this programme?
As a seeker and teacher of esoteric/spiritual paths for 35 years, I came to a point six years ago where I lost my “religion.” It had become top-heavy, if you know what I mean. What I’d been worrying for some time was how to take it all down to my big toe, so’s to speak. How to Be my essential human self. Along came Gene Keys. Hard to crack at first, me and my left brain. But then a little while in, something shifted deep inside me. I found sweet spots and crossed a threshold into a living, ever-expanding world of meaning and feeling through my heart, down to my big toe. It changed my life.
A crucial aspect of finding those sweet spots has been The Art of Contemplation. What Richard has managed to articulate to the page, paints these footprints on the floor for you to follow, step by step into a “deep sense of spaciousness” where insight can take place. Again, it took a bit for me to catch on, to slow down enough to be able to create that space over and over again. Part of following this practice has been a profound appreciation for my surroundings, for nature, for life.
