A Message from Richard
Dear friends,
There’s a beautiful old story told by Rumi called ‘The Lame Goat’. Because of her wound, the lame goat falls behind the main herd, but because she walks so slowly, she finds the richest pasture that the other goats ran past. I retell this story in my own words in the video above because it contains the essence of the Venus Sequence Retreat, which begins in a few days.
This will be my last time taking you all along the Venus Sequence as a facilitator. After all these years, this feels bittersweet for me. It’s the truest, most honest and noblest teaching I know of, and I’ve had such profound experiences with our community on these retreats – I’ve witnessed extraordinary miracles and healings, more than in any other work I do. Of course, the work will not be ending, and my team and our wonderful guides and ambassadors will carry the teachings forward from here.

Who knows why things happen the way they happen? This is one of the great mysteries of the word ‘dharma’, the first pathway of the Venus Sequence. We can only surrender graciously to fate, and as we do so, we raise the frequency of our response to life. This is when grace becomes possible – at the exact moment of our deepest surrender.
