The Gazelle

Extra, extra! Hunters Within us!

Welcome to the latest edition of Gazelle, a newsletter for the Dream Arc community and anyone curious to learn more about this work and how it reconnects us to all of life and enhances our creativity. Take your time with this. Allow your intuition to guide you, and enjoy a little every day. We continue our explorations with this month’s theme, Hunters.

What/who/why/when/how are you hunting?

What in your life is in need of your focus?

The Hunters

To work with us Hunters is to step outside your comfort zone. It often requires physical, emotional or mental discomfort. The rewards of working with us, however, are great. We often work quickly and intensively in a single area of focus. We demand a higher tempo of commitment than any other group of creatures. We also teach balance and patience, for all hunting requires rest to counterbalance many long hours of alertness. If we have stolen into your life, then the chances are you need a period of purification. Sometimes your purification may even require a reversal of your activities. If you are too addicted to activity, you may be asked to do nothing or vice versa.

If you are unfamiliar with the 12 categories and what they are about you can watch this video introduction from Rosy Aronson. ‘The 12 Categories’.

Hunters Digest

Is it time to go on a hunt? Or is it time to relax and regroup?

What is truly needing your focus right now?

Are you being hunted by your life's true calling?

It’s time for you to find someone or something in your life, perhaps something in the world, that is calling out for your attention, transformation or acceleration. The Hunters—your Hunter in particular—are here to help you find the courage, presence and skills that you’re going to need. You may already have a good idea about what you’re searching for. You may be hunting for the biggies, for example—for Healing, Truth or Love.

Or, you may be hunting for something very specific, like a new job, a new home, an educational path, a healthier body, a stronger voice, a good friend, a seasoned therapist or healer, or a spiritual teacher, practice or community. You may be hunting for more confidence, for greater access to your intuition, or for mental sanity! Perhaps you’re hunting for a creative project, like that novel or screenplay that you’re destined to write… or for a meaningful cause? Maybe you’re hunting for a beautiful future into which you can pour all of your love, energy and talents.

The Hunters

with Richard Rudd

“Many people say, ‘Oh, my totem or my animal/creature is the Black Panther.’ And I look at them and think, ‘I’m not so sure about that.’ I think if you really want to work with the Black Panther energy or a Tiger or one of those awesome creatures, you’re going to have to lay down some of your comforts, you’re going to have to move into its realm.

I remember a shaman speaking to a group of people, doing some shamanic work, where people were choosing power animals or stating who their power animal was. And we’re very drawn to predators like the Tiger and the Black Panther. People love the Black Panther – so mysterious, not surprising.

So many people had chosen predators, and the shaman said, ‘How many of you are vegetarians?’ And several of them put up their hands, and he said, ‘It’s not going to work. How are you going to move into this creature’s genetic makeup unless you allow yourself to be a carnivore?’

It just makes you think. Choose the creature that is allied to you or be willing to shift your behaviour to come towards it if you want it to come towards you. And I’m not saying that if you want to work with the Black Panther, you have to eat meat – I’m not saying that. I’m just saying consider these things.

What sacrifices are you ready to make to work with this energy? Because if you really want it to come in, you’re going to have to make some changes, probably, you’re going to have to step outside your comfort zone. There’s going to be some purification needed when you work with one of these creatures.”

Expand your Perception

with Rosy Aronson

Throughout the Dream Arc course, you will discover invitations to embody wisdom and embrace your unique creative genius. In the following invitation, you will be given an opportunity to expand your perception by giving your eyes a rest. (If you are visually impaired or non-sighted, you’ll be invited to explore the deeper gifts of ‘seeing’ that you’ve cultivated as a result.)

We can train our 5 (and higher) senses in many different ways. Consider how you might you adapt this exercise to explore your other senses of sound, touch, taste, smell — and intuition.

It is one thing to watch the invitation, it is another thing to follow up on it. In the video below Rosy and her daughter, Maya, embraced the invitation. And because it is cold in Denmark right now, they set up an obstacle course in the home and guided one another through blindfolded. This fun video gives you an idea of what you can experience when you deep dive into the Dream Arc. They also share the quintessence of their reflections on the exercise.

Honing Your Senses With The Hunters

with Matthew Ashdown & Jesse Chesnutt

Join Matthew Ashdown and Jesse Chesnutt for this initiation into working with the Hunters of the Dream Arc. They can bring some intensity into your life as you work on purifying some part of your life. They will help you sharpen your focus and hone your senses. Together we called forth a Dream Arc creature for the collective, the Swordfish, and its Guidance over the next while could be valuable, as it is supports us as we meet any fears of losing hope.

Honing Your Senses In Community Spaces

Every month we offer Clubhouse and Dream Pod calls to explore the themes that are arising in our Dream Arc journeys. These calls also offer us opportunities to hone our senses. Clubhouse, for example, is an audio-only space, and during Dream Pod calls, we offer the option of joining audio-only breakout (breakthrough!) rooms. These make excellent spaces for learning how to deepen our listening, attune to others on a whole new level, and to develop our other senses.

As part of the Hunters challenge for the months ahead, we invite you to join us for one of these calls, with the intention of honing in on your higher senses. Who knows? You just might enhance your ability to sense the energy behind people’s words, or ‘attune your way’ into a beloved soul group.

Clubhouse calls are open to anyone, but Dream Pod calls are for those engaged in the Dream Arc course. Information about upcoming calls can be found lower down in the Gazelle.

Hunt For Peace

The winter is a process when we go to our internal world for reflection and imagine and connect with all the things that we are processing in life. We don't live in the light or in the dark, we live in between. And when I am in between, I am in the rainbow, in all these beautiful colours. And I am a student of life because I learn from all the different colours in all the different realities. And the attitude that I need to hold inside of me to get there is peace. So, I have a peaceful journey, I have a peaceful life, and I try to create a peaceful existence. In this moment, when life is moving through such difficult realities, I think one of the best medicines that humanity needs right now is peace. But there can be no peace with the others if there is no peace with yourself on your internal journey, in your deep internal connection and reconnection with yourself, with Mother Earth and with all the cosmos that exists and lives inside you, but more than anything, with your own nature.

In 2024 a little orca captured the heart of thousands as we heard of her plight as an orphaned calf off of Vancouver Island, Canada. Dubbed Brave Little Hunter, she astounded many through her resilience and innate hunting abilities. Matthew Ashdown shares the story and some of the inspiration she offered him.

This month we will be gathering close to the Solstice, so let’s light a candle together and call forth some Dream Arc magic. If you are brand new to the Dream Arc this is a space where you can begin to orient to the work. If you are seasoned, it is a place where you can continue to connect to the magic and the community.
