Refund & Cancellation Policy for In-Person Events

Gene Keys Ltd In-Person Event Cancellation Policy

  1. Event Cancellation: If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify all ticket holders as soon as possible. If the event can be rescheduled, ticket holders will have the following options:
    • Reschedule: Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event date.
    • Refund: If the new date does not work for you, a full refund will be provided.
  2. Speaker Unavailability: If the Richard Rudd is unable to attend, the event will proceed with a qualified substitute from our teaching team. No refunds will be provided in this case.
  3. Ticket Transfers: If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please notify us in advance with the name and contact details of the new ticket holder so we can keep them up to date on event information.
    • We request that any ticket transfers be completed at least one week before the event to ensure we have adequate time to process the change and update our contact list. Transfers requested within the final two weeks before the event may not be accommodated due to limited capacity on our team. In such cases, the original ticket holder will be responsible for communicating all event information to the new ticket holder.
  4. No Refunds for Non-Attendance: We do not offer refunds for non-attendance due to personal reasons.
  5. Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) that prevent event from taking place:
    • Notification: We will notify all ticket holders as soon as possible regarding the cancellation.
    • Reschedule: Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event date if rescheduling is an option
    • Refund or Credit for future event/product:  If the event cannot be rescheduled or if the new date is not suitable, we will offer a choice of either a partial refund or a credit for a future event or product purchase. The partial refund or credit will reflect the costs already incurred for the event.
